Trigger Point Therapy - Self Treatment - Balanced Posture - Rejuvenating Massage Here I'll describe a stretch for the back of your calf. Find a wall that you can lean against. Pull the right leg back away from the wall. The further you pull your leg back, the more of a stretch you're going to get. Make sure your heel is on the floor and straighten you knee as far as you can. Now just lean into the wall for about 30 seconds. This is not meant to be painful or too intense, just a nice, comfortable, gentle stretch. The next step is to bend your knee and then just lean against the wall again. This will get another muscle, a deeper muscle closer to your ankle. If you want to exagerate the stretch place a phone or rolled towel under your foot. Repeat the same routine on the left calf. of a demonstration by Physical Therapist, Monic
